GCR Railways At Work Event

The GCR Railways At Work event featured period vehicles and traction engines helping to turn Quorn & Woodhouse station into a recreation of a working goods yard showing how the railways moved freight around the country, becoming a lifeline to towns and villages ahead of the age of mass road transportation.
A Jinty type steam loco worked the Quorn sidings alongside the period vehicles and a 'blink and you`ll miss it' high speed mail train also featured.
In my short film I hope to capture some of the atmosphere of the event and all that was going on at this busy and well attended event.
