Barwell #YarnBomb - Leicestershire

The center of the Leicestershire Village of Barwell has been subjected to a #YarnBomb by Barwell Guerilla knitters.
I took a visit to the village to find street furniture, seating and even trees covered in bright wool and fun characters all knitted over several months by Barwell Guerilla knitters and placed around the village in one morning meaning the residents of Barwell woke to a much more colorful and cheerful scene than they where accustomed.
I was told by a group member The event is a way to raise the profile of Barwell in a positive light and hopefully put a smile on the faces of local people (and visitors).
